At Prime of Life Insurance Agency, we specialize in Medicare plans. With over 35 years of combined health insurance experience, we focus on clear, jargon-free education to guide our clients through Medigap and Medicare Advantage plan choices. We offer expert advice to help you choose the RIGHT plan at NO COST and NO OBLIGATION.
We guide you through the process of getting signed up with Original Medicare.
We identify your specific healthcare needs and priorities like costs, benefits, flexibility and provider networks.
We verify if your doctors and preferred hospitals are in-network or out-of-network by plan.
We verify your prescription drug coverage by plan and estimated costs for your preferred pharmacy.
Many insurance companies offer specialized plans for specific, severe, or disabling chronic conditions.
We show you plan options and the recommended best fit plan. Each year during the annual enrollment period, we review your needs to make sure you're on the right plan.
Helps pay for hospital stays and inpatient care. On basis of age, no premium if 65 or older and eligible for monthly Social Security or Railroad Retirement Board (RRB) cash benefits. Coverage provided by the federal government.
Helps pay for services from doctors and other health care providers. Outpatient care. Home health care. Durable medical equipment. Monthly premiums apply unless qualified for assistance. Coverage provided by the federal government. Late enrollment penalties can apply.
A prescription drug coverage plan that you can join in addition to Original Medicare (A & B). It covers most medications you can take at home, such as oral pills and self-injectable medications. Coverage provided by private insurance companies. Late enrollment penalties can apply.
Private health insurance plans that help pay for out-of-pocket costs that Original Medicare doesn't cover, such as coinsurance. However, they don't cover everything. Medigap policies are standardized, and in most states are named by letters, Plans A-N. The basic benefit structure for each plan is the same, no matter which insurance company you choose.
Private health insurance plans that bundle Part A (hospital insurance), Part B (medical insurance), and usually Part D (drug coverage) into one plan. Some plans may offer extra benefits like vision, hearing, dental, and/or health and wellness programs. Must be enrolled in Part A and Part B. Plans may have different out-of-pocket costs and premiums than Original Medicare or other plans. Premiums in addition to Part B start at $0 in Florida, Arizona and Colorado.
Medicare requires a signed Scope of Appointment before an agent can discuss Medicare options with you. We use RetireFlo, a secure third party application to gather the Scope of Appointment, Permission to Contact, and Lists of Prescriptions, Doctors, Hospitals, and Pharmacies.
